Sam, who represents both the Quintana brothers and new client Rachelle Clementi, said Clementi suffered nearly two years of unexplained illness before connecting her symptoms to carbon monoxide after seeing media coverage of the Quintanas’ case. The lawsuit alleges the landlord never disclosed the prior poisonings to Clementi and failed to have the furnace inspected or repaired by a licensed professional before re-renting the unit. Sam noted that a current family is still living in that apartment, underscoring the urgency of accountability in the case.
